Route 3
  Farena-Ermita de Barrulles-Capafonts-Ermita de l'Abellera-Prades-Siurana.
(on mountain bike)

You will start at the old threshing floor, which has been turned into a small square. Leave Farena following the road that goes to Capafonts. Go down the road, cross the Brugenet river and go up again, until you find an asphalted road that will take you to the Mas d’en Toni. Follow the path at one side of the shed, and once you pass a pond at your right, leave the road and go to your left. Cross the ravine of l’Escolta and follow the path until you find a group of hazelnut trees. Go around it, on the right, and then take the path at your left, until you find a wide trail in front of the pond. From this point on, we will follow the trail; it is a steep path, and 5 km on, you will go down to the Collet d’en Mas d’en Toni, which stands at 760 meters over sea level. Pass by a small farm and continue up the path. To the left you will see a burnt forest, and further up, you will find level ground and then start to go down. You will see in front of you the shrine of Barrulles.
Once you arrive at the small square of the shrine, take a few minutes to rest, or just proceed through the dirt road that starts at your left. Cross the gully of Barral and follow the trail until you find the road, at the foot of the town of Capafonts. Follow the road up, pass by the entrance to the town (that you may visit) and once you are in front o f the cemetery, take the dirt road at your right. A few metres down the road pass by a path at your right and follow the road up to the bottom of the Barranc del Barral. Follow the well-defined path, never mind the stones. Start on your left, up the road, cross a small ravine, and you will see that the path becomes more defined and steeper. If you are not that experienced, you can take this part of the road on foot.
3 km further on you will find a trail that comes from the Coll de Capafonts; follow it on the right side. The path should be level now. Further down you will see a branch that will take you to the shrine of Abellera, and if you follow the path further on, you will get to the Coll de Sant Roc. Follow the paved path; if you take the right, it will also take you to the shrine of Abellera, which is the highest spot on the route, 1020 meters over sea level, where you can enjoy the views and the peculiar location. Go back to the Coll de Sant Roc and follow the path toward Prades, leaving the road that goes up to your right; pass by a narrow road and take the first dirt road to your right, following the GR-65-5 signs. Pass by the Cova del Vidre and keep going until you get to Prades, where you can take some time-out or keep on the route.
From Prades, the route starts on a road located at the crossing between the road that goes to Febró I Capafonts and the road that goes to Albarca, just next to a big house. Follow this old road until you cross yet another road and see to your right the old Cross of the Terme. Follow this path. You will find another road, cross it and keep going, and in the next crossing leave the road and take your left; this road runs parallel to the road that goes to Febró. Further down you will see on your right the signs that mark the trail that leads to Siurana; follow them. In some points, the state of the road is not very good and you must take it on foot. Pass by the Coll de l’Andreu, and after you pass under a high tension wire, you will get to a crossing; keep on straight, pass by any intersections that you find and after some 6 km, you will arrive to the Grau d’en Saura, with nice views of the Monsant, and the Grau del Llop. Follow the same road, which should now start going down, and when you get to a crossing, take the right path, marked by a sign that says “Prohibit acampar” (No camping here). Keep on the road, pass by two roads (one to your left, one to your right), some hazelnut fields, a road to your right, a road to your left (that leads to a farm), and after 9 km on this road you will get to the road that goes up to Cornudella del Montsant, which you will follow. Further on you can stop and enjoy the views of the small town of Siurana, passing by the road (on your left)  that leads to the parking and the ruins of the castle.
